Tea obsession among young fencers baffles psychologists.
Researchers from the University of Queensland have noticed a huge spike in “Tea” related discussion on social media from the fencing community in QLD. Their algorithms have shown that Tea is up 243% since last year while Coffee has remained constant. Our investigative reporters were on the scene asking hard hitting questions. When we asked a prominent member what he thought about the rise of Tea in the community, Garry “Teapot” MacAllen had this to say. “See I’m just a great big teapot pouring my tea into all of the little teacups.” What he means by this, remains a mystery.
It appears many subcultures around tea and it’s various types have formed. It is not uncommon for “Tell me the Tea” to be the first words spoken in greeting no doubt as a means of judging others for their taste in tea and rising to the top of the social pyramid. It appears the pyramid starts with “no Tea” being at the bottom with, “Tell me your Tea” being a close second. This is followed by “I have Tea” and “I’ve got that good Tea”. It appears that “Garry’s Tea is highly praised and “I’ve got that Gucci Tea” is at the top of the pyramid.
Bishop, commonly known as “Shop” is often heard spilling “That good tea, that real good tea.” Shop is highly prized for both his national and his international tea although he has been known to defer to Garry when it comes to tea from “The Youth” which he understands but takes no pleasure in.
Psychologists are baffled as to why spilling tea is seen as a good thing however the working theory is that it may be akin to a status symbol such as burning money or buying Apex Jackets.
