Fencer tries to play Violin, kills Conductor.
Tragedy, heartbreak, confusion. These were some of the feelings last Tuesday at the Queensland Conservatorium after the horrendous event. “I don’t know what happened, one minute I was playing Mozart’s third violin concerto and the next minute the first violin had stabbed the Conductor.”
Our reporter managed to get a statement from the fencer. “He was attacking me from the moment the playing started, waving his stick around, it was only a matter of time.” Renown fencing lawyer Mr Miami is stating self defense is a valid response in the situation. “When you train all your life to stab people those instincts can kick in at inappropriate times. Just last week in Paris an antenna repair man retreated off the roof as his partner swung around to ask him a question.”
