The History of the Berry Families.

The Straws and the Rasps have had a long and sordid history. While the Straw’s mostly stuck to farming and milk consumption the Rasps have always sought political power. It’s only natural that those so closely tied to the dairy industry and those in imperial Russian circles should be natural enemies. However, all may not be as it seems, the Greek influence is apparent in the history of both these two groups and as intertwined as they are, be wary of anyone pre-determining the outcome from the past alone.

The Hidden Strawberry is the Deadliest.

It tastes exactly how you would expect plain yoghurt to taste if you dumped it on top of strawberries at the bottom of a container. On the first bite, there are hints of strawberry but it’s mostly plain however as you dive deeper you discover the taste grows in strength until you are eating lumps of strawberries. Very standard flavour, not unpleasant or overly nice.

Raspberry Russia’s Greatest Love Machine.

The initial look of the Raspberry was more vivid. Colours swirled in the liquid like a murdered imperial drowning after being shot. Not only were the colours more vivid there was substantially more raspberry. The downside to this is that the natural acidity did little to offset the taste of otherwise plain sour yoghurt. The acidity did fade over time, and it began to taste much better than the Strawberry through pure quantity of Raspberry.

Concerning Conclusions?

As the heading would suggest this is slightly concerning, if either trend continues there may be issues. The first due, to the lack of fruit adding to the dish and the second, where only an overdose of something “not yoghurt” can save the dessert. If the fundamental base is so average will consumers be turned off? Alternatively, is it precisely the averageness of the Greek influence that is so appealing to the mindless drones working days on end only to come home to sparks of inspiration amid consistent plain yoghurt?
